WHY BARABORA:

I firstly started this blog in November 2007 with the vision of writing about my studies in France, my experiences, funny stories etc.  After coming back from the Changing Times conference this January, I decided (strongly influenced by the talks made by Mr. David Henderson) to finally do something meaningful with this space I got here on the net. I won’t pretend that the frequency of my writing before January 2009 was more than once per few months. Therefore an idea of transforming my blog to a one dedicated to things related to the fact that I am a Baha’i was born.

WHO AM I:

My real name is Barbora and I was born in the Czech Republic. I became a Baha’i at the age of 18. After studying for 6 years at a bilingual (French-Czech) high school in Brno, CZ, I decided to continue my education in France at the infamous Institut d’etudes politiques de Paris (aka Sciences Po Paris).  This year I’ve been on an ERASMUS exchange at the University of Vienna, faculty of political studies.  As my masters degree, I’d like to do  double diploma Sciences Po – London School of Economics in Urban Policy.

MY CHARACTERISTICS:

I have a weird laughter and sometimes nobody can understand what am I talking about (but it’s fine as long as I’m having fun, hehe).

I play the piano, the saxofone and a bit of the guitar.

I LOVE Monty Python.
